    Do you have what it takes to be a Top-Notch Troop?

  • How to qualify:

    • Membership:
      • Daisy, Brownie, and Junior troops must have a minimum of 13 girls registered.
      • Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador troops must have a minimum of six girls registered.
      • Younger multi-level troops (Daisy, Brownie, Junior) must have a minimum of 13 girls registered.
      • Older girl multi-level troops (Cadette, Senior, Ambassador) must have a minimum of six girls registered. 
      • All age multi-level troops must have a minimum of 10 girls registered. 
      • All troops must have a minimum of two registered, approved troop leaders.
      • 50% of all troop members must participate in the April 2026 Early Bird Renewal program (must register for 2027 by April 30).

    • Help your Community:
      • Complete a Take Action/community service project.

    • Set Goals and Be Responsible:
      • Participate in the MagNut and cookie programs.
      • Complete your 2025 Annual Finance Report (new for 2026 troops excluded).
      • Have a current Troop Bank Account and ACH Adjustment form on file. 
      • Attend at least two service unit meetings (MagNut and cookie training, Fall Town Halls, regional service unit meetings, and/or the Annual Meeting may be accepted if your service unit does meet regularly).

    • Have Fun:
      • Host a family event/meeting.
      • Take a field trip.
      • Earn a minimum of four badges/awards.
      • Participate in a Girl Scout tradition.
      • Complete a STEM activity.
      • Embark on an outdoor adventure.
      • Attend a council-sponsored event or activity or attend/host a service unit-sponsored event or activity.
      • Enjoy an overnight experience (Brownies-Ambassadors).

    Activities should be completed between June 2025 and May 2026.

    This form will help you save and track your progress throughout the year.

    All approved Top-Notch Troops will receive an exclusive patch and be invited to a summer fun day at one of our four camps!

    All forms are due May 5, 2026.
